wow it has seriously been way to long since I updated

As the title states it has been so long since I updated this blog, so much has happened since my last blog I don't even know where to begin. What I can say is im so excited to be well enough to go home this weekend. I am so excited to give my niece her b-day gift :). I think she will love it, I miss spoiling her rotten so much, people are gonna have to fight to hold her when she comes down, she is just to adorable for words.

annoyance with chapel speakers

For the past couple years, the speakers for chapel have been all about white people expecting everybody to act just like them and that we think we are better Christians then them. Apparently we are all racists and we need to be accepting of other cultures, and hang out with more people of "color", and to stop segregating ourselves in the cafeteria. We should feel bad that we are not accpeting of people. Dang way to lay on the white guilt geesh. Clearly these speakers have never met me before, if they did maybe theyd realize that just maybe im dating a brazilian hows that for white? Just maybe I have friends of color, yeah shocking I know.
Anyway I was glad that the speaker we had this time for revival actually said to stop feeling guilty about being white, and that just maybe whites and blacks need to work on welcoming people its not all the whites fault cause wow all different races can be hypocritical wow. Another thing can we please stop celebrating only black history month I mean their are so many more cultures then that, what about Asian, Irish, Scottish, chaples we didnt even celebrate Saint Patricks Day instead it was a Martin Luther King Chapel...

I think I have ridiculously amazing roommates I just have to say that because they are so respectful and actually dont mind me going to bed early and they shut the bedroom door turn on the fans in the room and pretty much seem to know what would make me feel better. it is hard not to smile when you see your roomate forget to set her alarm and you have to wake her up and then you go use the bathroom open the door and she is in the kitchen making breakfast and sets out food for you. Today one of my roomates had me clean the apartment this morning before classes which was actually a great way to start of the day, because I felt productive and my mind was already active for the day not to mention the apartment was nice and clean :). How can you resist someone who is always so happy and chipper and serves you food, and another who is always smiley and full of stories which are beyond entertaining :).

Today has just been one of those days that you just want to say okay I give up. I woke up unable to breathe and stuffed up, even puking a lil bit. I went to my first class today pumped because I am taking a marine bio class, and I am a fanatic for the ocean and basically any critter out there. Needless to say that class went fine and besides lab later on those are all the classes I had for the day. Trying to be the good student I went ahead and started my practice quiz for tomorrows class so that I would be prepared for the teachers quiz. To my horror I quickly discovered that I did not know how to do about half of the quiz, so I went to my teacher for help and got the response of you can figure this out, (insert name here) this is o-chem now you gotta start thinking you are smart enough. You know this is one of the responses that makes students want to yell and scream, clearly if I knew what I was doing I would of figured it out, a little guidance would of been nice maybe? Needless to say I went ahead and found two other people who had already taken the class, and asked for help but of course they were also stumped. Then I looked at the time and it was almost time for my lab to start and I hadn't even had lunch yet so I ran to my apartment and shoved a peanut butter jelly sandwich down my throat and practically tripped on my way out. Then my apartment would not lock and I stood for two minutes trying to lock it. I than ran to my lab hoping I would not be late only to be told that my lab was moved to one thirty instead of twelve thirty. On my way back to my dorm I noticed my phone had decided to act up by flipping the screen upside down and off to the side so. I couldn't tell what I was doing on my phone, and my apartment was open. Needing my brother I called the house because I couldnt remeber his number off the top of my head. When my dad answered he did not recognize me, and I must admit I broke into tears and started crying im your daughter!!!! Then he handed the phone over to my brother, who bless his heart helped me out and talked me through resetting my phone. Then my phone started working and I ran to lab again only to realize I had forgotten my notebook, but it was to late to grab it. Lab was alright and I went back to my room in a good mood until I realized my o-chem book was missing, and I ran in a panic to the science building glad that no one had stolen my book. So now im looking over notes for my quizzes tomorrow. All this and its only my second day of school.

Am I the only weird one?

So I have a brand new roomate this year and shes Asian and im excited to meet her. Some of this has to do with the fact that she is Asian. Is this wrong? I have never roomed with an Asian before. Im a little nervous about starting school, because I have two new roommates, only one of which I originally planned on, the other two dropped from the list. This is like freshmen year all over again, but im a Junior, I just hope that I can be a good roommate to the two of them, since im so used to living with my old ones. Hopefully, one of my old roommates is coming back to live with me in the spring, since I miss them both! Ugh back I go to typing my internship journal.

Happy 50 months tomorrow mi amor :) I like to think that we are an adorable but unique interesting couple, and that these cute pics sum it up. Im glad I have spent these last months with you baby. I absolutely adore you forever.

This commercial bothers me a lot

The adult pertussis commercial aggravates me and makes me want to cry every time I see it. I dont know if any of you have seen it but the commercial plays over and over again the sound of a baby coughing to death, gesh is that really necessary, makes me want to mute the commercial or change the channel. I understand where they are coming from but oh my goodness...

little piece of happiness

After a long day today I felt the need for a lil comfort and since my man was at work I bought myself a lil bit of happiness called: Icecream :). This is an ingenious flavor, mixing cookie dough, fudge, and vanilla icecream, can you blame a girl for giving in to the price of this, and to make it even better I bought Arizona raspberry ice tea, interesting combo yet so good.

officially dedication blog for now

Flobear passed this morning :( at around nine am. I woke up this morning to a crying flo and when I picked her up she was bleeding out from her lower half as well as having diarrhea. Thankfully she did not suffer long as the ordeal took only about an hour and a half. She died of intestinal issues as well as a possible bound egg. From now on this is a dedication blog to her... For anyone wondering her name was Flobert Van Helsing and my last name.

Cat vs. Bird

Belle has taken upon herself to wait outside my door so she can visit her best friend Flobear. This includes trying to eat er and staring at her whenever she gets the change. Fortunately for Flo she is in a huge cage, and I tend to shut my door. The other day though I made the stupid mistake of locking the cat in my room for an hour until my little bro started to wonder where his cat was... I walked into my room to a wet hissing Belle, and a very upset wet Flo. Her cage was turned upside down and she was drenched by her water bowl. Poo and bird seed was everywhere, best hour of my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say miss Flo came down with a cold and Belle stayed away from Flo for a day.

For some reason people in my family have all decided to buy the same type of cat. Yes they are three different cats.

Evil Beautiful plants

One of these three beautiful plants is the reason for my pain and lots of oozing. Very deceiving how nice they look but do not touch for they have a powerful bite.

I miss this

One thing I haven't been able to do in a while is photography I love capturing moments, but none of that is going to happen until I find a better camera or even better find my camera :(. Until then I shall use my wonderful camera phone.

Stuck between two rivers and trying to stay on the path between

Do you ever feel like in some situations you just cant win? That no matter which way you take you will leave someone behind? Sometimes life at least mine feels that way, do I go onward towards leaving or do I allow myself to linger behind and go towards the left the familiar. Just a thought.Thankfully though when your stuck between two rivers or a fork in the road you always have that one path that you can stay on between the two rivers that will keep you sane as long as you keep your sights on it.
