I petition you today
for the sake of a mouse
One who no longer feels welcome in any house
this rodent was once glad and gay

Now is burdened with tears
crying all day because of her never ending fears
the past has come to greet her night and day
Now i really believe I have a need to say

For to long shes been a squeak in the night
no one listening, and no one caring
now i truly beleive that im coming close to swearing
that im losing my mouse to fright

Trusting those around her
always falling into despair
Then comes along some stupid sir
who forces her back into the chair

They peck
They bite
and when she is on deck
she will not fight

They want her for her fur
so fluffy and bright the richest of white
